About me
Hello, I am Maksym (also known as Max) and welcome to my academic portfolio website!
I am currently in the mathematics PhD program at Simon Fraser University. My doctoral advisor is Ben Adcock and my designated research topics are in active learning for operator learning and developing acceleration schemes for stochastic optimization algorithms. Previously, I completed a MSc in applied mathematics at Simon Fraser University. In addition, I have worked on and off as a data analyst for Statistics Canada for two and a half years.
I have previously completed a MSc in applied mathematics at Simon Fraser University. Prior to that, I worked as a data scientist for Statistics Canada for one and a half years in conjunction with completing an undergraduate degree in mathematics.
